Neighborhood Roads: Update Oct 2025

As discussed during the 2025 annual meeting on October 20th, Balmoral Orchards arranged an informational session last Spring on May 27th, 2025 on the topic of neighborhood road improvements with a guest speaker from Bloomfield Township (Jenn Werthmann). Jenn reviewed the process and answered questions from homeowners. Next steps involve an Expression of Interest form to determine whether Balmoral should obtain a no-obligation pricing quote. Balmoral volunteers will be canvassing the neighborhood beginning in November 2025 to collect signatures from those who are interested in learning more with no commitment or cost to us. Luminaries - NYEve 2024/25 success - event on hiatus for 25/26!

During the October 2025 HOA meeting, a motion was made to no longer plan the Balmoral Luminary neighborhood event. The luminaries were established during COVID when many people were home. These days, families are traveling and away from their homes during the Holidays and can't participate. A committee will target future ideas to engage the community but the Balmoral residential luminary event will not occur for the 25/26 New Years Eve. 

Thank you to the entire neighborhood for participating in our event over the years. Maybe you went for a walk - maybe you talked to a neighbor that you haven't seen in a while, maybe it helped by being part of something together. A couple of pictures are included below.
